The California and Bay Area Psychological Associations are sponsoring two Webinar trainings for currently qualified and prospective child custody evaluators. An 8-hour training will be held on July 22nd and 23rd , 2023 and will focus on parenting plans, cognitive bias, single mothering and fathering, BFAs, intensive in-home interventions, and the legal overlay for experts and Court remedies. A 4-hour domestic violence training will be held on July 23rd, 2023 and will focus on the AFCC Guidelines for Examining Intimate Partner Violence, assessment of coercive control, legal update, Judicial discretion and views from the bench, and alternatives to traditional litigation.
