The speaker roster for 2025’s Parental Alienation Study Group (PASG) has been officially announced, and Canadian attorney Brian Ludmer is confirmed to be in the lineup. Ludmer’s presentation is titled What is wrong with how the legal, therapeutic, parenting coordination, and child protection worlds are assisting families in crisis – Lessons from a Career in the Vortex.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Best Practices in Parental Alienation Assessment, Intervention, and Advocacy: A Roadmap for Judicial Accuracy and Resolution.”

Brian Ludmer is an internationally recognized legal authority in high-conflict custody cases and the subject of parental alienation. His presentation is slated to last 45 minutes, followed by a 15-minute Q&A session, and will contain pragmatic, real-world insights drawn from his many years of legal work and ongoing campaign for positive systemic changes. The session will be streamed live to accommodate viewers around the world.

Joining Brian Ludmer in presenting at PASG 2025 are more than 60 experts on parental alienation (PA), lived experience, and public policy. Among them are Americans Dr. Mary Alvarez, Lisa Rothfus, Christine Turner, and Dr. Alan Blotcky; British national Dr. Ben Hine; and fellow Canadians Dr. Kathleen Reay and Dr. Amanda Sharples. Some of the topics addressed by these experts will be missed judicial and clinical opportunities, expert testimony in PA cases, the prevalence of parental alienation behaviours (PABs) in the United Kingdom, as well as evaluating the impact of the Family Reflections Reunification Program on severely alienated children and the connection between PABs and other forms of abuse, respectively.

PASG 2025 will take place from September 10th to 12th, 2025, at the Marriott Downtown, located at Toronto’s Eaton Centre. The full list of speakers, along with registration details, can be viewed at www.pasg2025toronto.ca
