The Government of Canada is about to send Bill C78, An Act to Amend the Divorce Act, off to the Senate without any major amendments. We are in danger of missing a once in a generation opportunity to modernize our family law system by enshrining the principle of equal parenting. Equal parenting provides the best outcomes for children and has been adopted by several progressive countries and US states.
