A Chat with Brian Ludmer

Brian is an advisory board member to the Parental Alienation Awareness Organization and the International Support Network for Alienated Families, as well as a co-founder of Lawyers for Shared Parenting. Brian was one of the drafters of Canada’s proposed equal shared parenting amendment, Bill C-560.

Brian is the legal editor of the PASG bi-monthly newsletter and provides strategic advice to parents and lawyers on cases of PA across North America and even around the world.

Brian’s cases have established some of the leading jurisprudence in Canada on compliance with Court Orders and responses to PA.

Brian is a frequent speaker at conferences around the world dealing with these issues.

Brian was an invited witness to the Canadian Parliament’s committees studying the recent changes to the Divorce Act, where he presented on the need for a rebuttable presumption of equal shared parenting after family separation During this zoom call, parents had an unique opportunity to ask a sympathetic lawyer about how to address parental alienation in family court.
